About

Dear Colleagues,

We are extremely pleased to invite you to participate in the third edition of the Valvular Heart Disease Forum, in Bucharest at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, October 10-11, 2025.

The event will bring together speakers with great expertise in valvular heart diseases(VHD).

Our main objective is to discuss new and practical aspects related to VHD, focusing on what is new in the 2025 ESC/EACTS Guidelines, to be released at the end of August during the ESC Congress 2025 in Madrid.

The Chairperson, Professor Fabien Praz, and several of the Task Force members will be present in Bucharest at this meeting.

The format of the event is an interactive one, including case presentations, discussing the guidelines recommendations and gaps in evidence, followed by a Q&A section with plenty of time for discussions.

New this year – two hands-on workshops on echocardiography in VHD, where experts will demonstrate the practical approach and participants will have the opportunity to work together with the experts.

Also new this year – we invite clinical case submissions and the best graded ones will be presented in a special session during the meeting.

Please consult the programme of the event and save the dates of October 10-11, 2025 in your agenda!

Do not miss this opportunity!

Looking forward to meeting you all at the VHD Forum in Bucharest!
